Casa Shalva

Sublime Studio played a key role in designing the interior architecture of Casa Shalva in Tulum, Mexico, a private residence that harmoniously combines modern design with the natural surroundings. The interior showcases unique sculptural raw stone furnishings, meticulously created to blend material and form seamlessly.

The main area is the spacious open kitchen and dining area, where a magnificent dining table, benches, and chairs made of raw limestone take center stage. Complementing this focal point is a built-in sofa sectional and a stone fire pit coffee table, creating a warm and inviting space above the sunken living area.
The sculptural raw stone furniture, crafted from crema maya stone, exudes an ancient allure, reminiscent of a forgotten temple. The textured stone adds a timeless and tactile quality, hinting at luxury through its refined seats.

Incorporating yin and yang lounges further enhances the balance within the design, symbolizing harmony in all living things. The predominant use of raw stone establishes a genuine connection to nature, while the contemporary architecture provides a sleek contrast.

The rough stone throughout the space tells a tale of history and culture, infusing the design with depth and character. Casa Shalva exemplifies the art of blending contrasting features to create a truly distinctive and captivating living environment.

The outdoor sofas and ottomans mirror the interior furniture, promoting a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor areas. The bar terrace features custom bar stools made from black-stained wood, offering a modern and comfortable setting for enjoying drinks or snacks. A long tube LED light adds a warm glow, enriching the outdoor ambiance
