A global platform for artistic innovation.
Since its inception in 2003, Mexico Art Week has evolved into a city-wide phenomenon, transforming galleries, hotels, restaurants, and public spaces into immersive showcases of cutting-edge art and design.
This year, Maison Celeste, a newly opened hotel-meets-gallery, presented an exclusive exhibition highlighting boundary-pushing works that redefine the intersection of function and sculpture.
The collaboration: Sublime Studios x MARMOREO x Maison Celeste
This collaboration was shaped by the vision of Maison Celeste curators Jose Banuelos and Jose Esperon, who recognized the synergy between Sublime Studios and MARMOREO.Sharing a deep appreciation for sculptural form, material authenticity, and artistic storytelling, the studios seamlessly converged in their creative process.
Featured in “Reflejos Ocultos” Exhibition.
“Reflejos Ocultos” (“Hidden Reflections”) is a curated exploration of light, materiality, and form. The Celestial 7 chairs embody this theme, celebrating the inherent beauty of raw stone and the way it interacts with its surroundings.
Design Philosophy & Materiality
Raw Stone Materiality – Each chair preserves the natural veining and organic imperfections of Santo marble, emphasizing the authenticity of its geological origins.Sculptural Yet Functional – Designed to be both a functional furniture piece and a monolithic work of art.
Minimalist Brutalism – A monolithic aesthetic that speaks to the purity of form and material.
Outdoor Courtyard Placement – Set within Maison Celeste’s serene courtyard, the chairs invite guests to reflect and engage with the surrounding environment.
